Mr. Rao Remala
Advisor and Investor retired from Microsoft
Corporation in 2003 after 23 years in senior engineering
management roles. Rao joined Microsoft in 1981 and was amongst
the first 50 hires. First Indian and the first one to write
first line of code of windows (Then called Interface Manager).
He architected, developed, and managed such Microsoft flagship
products as Basic, Cobol Compiler, Windows 1.0, Windows 2.0,
OLE 1.0, OLE 2.0, Office 95, and Office 97. He also held a
range of positions — from individual contributor to group
manager to product unit manager to director of research and
development to GM. Rao also holds various patents at Microsoft.
Rao graduated with highest honors from REC Warangal College,
India in 1972. He also earned a master’s degree in computer
science from IIT Kanpur, India and was a PhD candidate at the
University of Washington. |
Mr. Manish Sinha
Managing Director, Microsoft Support Asia Pacific and
India is currently responsible for Customer Service
and Support Operations of Microsoft covering Korea, Southeast
Asia, Singapore, India, Australia and New Zealand. With over
17 years of extensive experience in the IT industry Manish
has been involved in the complete life cycle of IT products
and services i.e. Product Development, Product Testing, Technical
Sales, Sales and Marketing, Consulting Services, Line Of Business
Application Development, Customer Service and Technical Support.
Prior to his current role Manish has been with Microsoft Consulting
Services in US for 13 years and was with Oracle Consulting
Services prior to that. |
Mr. J.A. Chowdary
Managing Director, nVIDIA India Ltd is
currently responsible for all operations of Portal Player in
India, a NASDAQ traded company. He is also the president of
Hyderabad chapter of TiE, Chairman of American Chamber of Commerce,
Vice Chairman of AMCHAM National Board and Vice Chairman of
Asia Pacific Council of American Chambers of Commerce (APCAC).
Prior to that he was the Development Commissioner & Chairman
of the Board of STPI, Hyderabad and Chennai. He is often considered
one of the chief architects of the IT industry in
India. |
