Senior Software Design Engineer – App Dev

Location : Hyderabad/Bangalore

Experience : 4 to 6 Years

Job Description:

• Collaborate with architects and product managers to design scalable, maintainable, and high-performance software systems.
• Break down complex business requirements into technical specifications and design documents.
• Apply design patterns and architectural best practices to ensure code quality and system integrity.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in core programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript).
• Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and/or frontend components.
• Ensure code adheres to security, performance, and scalability standards.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code reliability.
• Participate in test-driven development (TDD) and continuous integration practices.
• Collaborate with QA teams to identify and resolve bugs and performance issues.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Provide constructive feedback and mentor junior developers.
• Share knowledge through documentation, pair programming, and technical sessions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, QA, and DevOps.
• Estimate effort and contribute to sprint goals and delivery timelines.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Monitor application health and performance in production environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth releases and rollback strategies.
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation for systems and APIs.
• Contribute to internal wikis, playbooks, and onboarding materials.
• Lead or participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and tech talks.

Primary Skills (Must have)

• 1-5 year(s) of experience in API Development with Python or Java
• 1-5 year(s) of experience in Mulesoft
