Technical Lead – Veeva Vault

Location – Hyderabad or Bangalore

Job/Role Description

  • Experience – 8 to 10 Years
  • Serve as a senior configuration specialist, consultant and Veeva Vault expert for IT and business partners across regions and business areas.
  • Participate in business requirement gathering, feasibility checks, design activities/reviews with business & IT stakeholders as part of scrum team as a technical lead.
  • Perform delivery activities through Design / Build / Test / Deploy phases for regular planned releases and key platform initiatives.
  • Design and build extensions for Veeva Vault to accommodate custom business flows.
  • Solve day-to-day incidents, service requests (only when needed) and work towards incident-reduction and automation.
  • Ensure that all system security and control procedures are implemented and maintained.
  • Generate and implement ideas to simplify / streamline our integration landscape in alignment with integration design and patterns.
  • Responsible to maintain the configuration specification documentation both for functional and integration configuration.
  • Manage/Update JIRA/Azure Board during the lifecycle of an implementation focusing on requirements gathering, configuration, validation/testing, training, and go-live activities during releases.
  • Work with Integrations team to ensure that the integrations are set up and working as expected.
  • Work with Veeva technical team on new requirements, issues related to Veeva API, Security Set-up and Functional Configuration.
  • Perform the role of gate keepers for design alignment and standards.
  • Collaborate across other vault applications, support teams within IT and suppliers

Primary Skills (Must have)

  • Working experience in the Veeva Vault platform and products – RIM, QMS (CTMS, eTMF, Promomats would be added advantage)
  • Functional knowledge of Regulatory processes in the R&D Space – Regulatory Registrations, Submissions, Publishing and Quality. Development/Support experience in the regulatory space.
  • Expertise in Vault Object Model, Validation Rules, Relationships, Wizards, Object Lifecycles, Object Workflows, Document Handling along with Document Lifecycles and Document Workflows, Reports, Dashboards, DAC Configuration, Security Configuration, Jobs, File Staging
  • Experience in data activities via Loader, APIs, vault refresh and domain admin activities
  • Experience in migration/configurations through Packages, extraction and analysis of Vault Compare and Configuration Reports.
  • Extensive knowledge in Veeva releases and Release Impact Assessment for Veeva releases.
  • Knowledge of support processes – Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management and experience working in large sized support/delivery teams and service now (SNOW).
