DevOps Engineer – Sales Force

Job Description :

  • Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud), Salesforce DevOps processes using Copado, CI/CD Pipeline, GitHub
  • Ideal candidate will provide leadership across three major functional teams—Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Marketing—comprising approximately 10–12 Salesforce developers.
  • Responsibilities include implementing and managing a robust CI/CD pipeline, ensuring secure and efficient configuration and permission controls, enforcing coding standards, and maintaining overall platform hygiene.
  • The ideal candidate will ensure that architecture decisions adhere to best practices and balance configuration vs. custom code strategies.
  • Lead end-to-end DevOps lifecycle including build, deploy, release management, and monitoring.
  • Enforce access and security protocols, permission sets, and environment controls.
  • Define and enforce Salesforce development standards, architectural guidelines, and deployment workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and QA engineers to manage branching strategies, quality gates, and deployment plans using Copado and GitHub.
  • Onboard new developers with clear guidance on access provisioning, dev standards, and team workflows.
  • Maintain and enhance development hygiene by overseeing code reviews, maintaining test coverage, and ensuring documentation is current.
  • Govern and guide developers through retrospectives and continuous improvement cycles.
    This role is critical in creating a scalable and secure Salesforce development ecosystem that supports enterprise-grade delivery for commercial life sciences applications.
  • We are seeking a SFDC DevOps Engineer, who will be responsible for driving and overseeing DevOps best practices across multiple Salesforce teams while ensuring streamlined deployment processes, secure environments, and consistent development standards. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends technical execution with governance and enablement.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I/II or Application Architect certifications
    • Knowledge of other DevOps tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Bitbucket
    • Exposure to Salesforce Veeva CRM or life sciences domain-specific deployments
    • Basic understanding of test automation frameworks for Salesforce
    • Experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Apex
