Module lead – Snowflake developer

Job Description :

WinWire is seeking a Sr. Engineer / Lead — Snowflake Infrastructure, Security & Governance to own hands-on technical delivery for Peet’s Coffee’s BI and Data Engineering platform hardening engagement. You will be the single technical owner executing a security-first, sprint-based program spanning Snowflake security controls, Power BI and Microsoft Fabric access governance automation, Snowflake cost/performance tagging, and retail orchestration documentation — all within a compressed 12–16-week timeline. Reporting to the WinWire Delivery Manager, you will work directly with Peet’s technical stakeholders, drive measurable risk reduction, and establish the governance foundation for SOX-aligned data operations. 

• 5+ years in data engineering or data platform roles, with 4+ years of hands-on Snowflake expertise authentication, RBAC, network policies, Trust Center, stored procedures, and security hardening
• • Proven track record implementing Snowflake security controls — key-pair authentication for service accounts, IP whitelisting / network policies, role ownership remediation, and MFA enforcement
• • Strong Power BI and/or Microsoft Fabric governance experience — workspace and report-level access management, RLS configuration, and programmatic access extraction via Power BI Admin REST API at enterprise scale
• • Python proficiency for automation scripting — access extraction pipelines, scheduled audit jobs, reconciliation workflows, and termination-driven access removal processes
• • Production Matillion experience — job design patterns, ELT pipeline management, and tagging/metadata practices across Matillion workloads
• • Expert Snowflake SQL — RBAC queries, monitoring views, resource attribution, stored procedure analysis, and audit-grade access reporting
• • Practical understanding of SOX-aligned audit processes — audit evidence standards, access removal documentation, and operational control logging

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience in leading development teams.
