Sr Technical Lead – Veeva CRM & Align

Job Description

  • We are seeking a skilled Technical Lead with strong expertise in Veeva CRM and Veeva Align, and hands-on experience in the Life Sciences commercial domain. The ideal candidate will take end-to-end ownership of CRM and Align modules, working closely with onsite leads, client stakeholders, and offshore team members to ensure successful delivery and ongoing support of CRM solutions.
  • The role requires deep knowledge of Veeva CRM and Align functionality, a solid foundation in Salesforce, and familiarity with pharma-specific business processes including sales force effectiveness, HCP targeting, and territory alignment. As a Technical Lead, you will drive requirement analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, and release activities, while mentoring junior team members and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Lead the configuration, deployment, and support of Veeva CRM modules, including Call Reporting, Accounts Management, Events Management, and Medical/Commercial workflows.
  • Manage Veeva Align implementation tasks such as roster planning, territory alignment, field force hierarchies, and cycle planning.
  • Collaborate with onsite leads and business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and drive delivery timelines.
  • Coordinate integration efforts with external systems such as Veeva Vault, Salesforce Service Cloud, MDM platforms, and downstream analytics.
  • Own the technical delivery of assigned modules—overseeing design, configuration, UAT support, and post-go-live activities.
  • Ensure solution compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GxP, 21 CFR Part 11) and follow documentation standards.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks in delivery and communicate effectively with project management.
  • Review deliverables from junior team members and provide technical mentorship and guidance.
  • Collaborate effectively within a hybrid onsite-offshore model and maintain continuous alignment with client expectations. 

Must have Skills

  • 7–10 years of overall experience in IT, with minimum 5 years in Veeva CRM and 2+ years in Veeva Align.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Veeva CRM configuration and delivery.
  • Practical experience with Veeva Align, including roster/territory configuration and planning cycles.
  • Salesforce platform knowledge and familiarity with SFA processes.
  • Deep understanding of Life Sciences / Pharma commercial operations.
  • Experience in module-level leadership, working within onsite-offshore models.
