SkyDrive Pro is about file sharing and synchronization, enabling you to access content offline and have changes automatically synchronized in the background when your device (or devices – if you have files sync’d to multiple different locations) reconnect to the Internet. We all tend to store company files and documents online, or on Intranet, which we might sometimes need to take a copy of and go offline.

One of the main reasons why SkyDrive Pro is grabbing eye-balls is that it offers built-in sync capability, and creates a local copy of your SkyDrive Pro documents. Additionally, you can also sync your SkyDrive Pro to a local directory and any SharePoint Online document library locally as well. This new SkyDrive Pro client addresses this issue for all users of Office 365.
